Stamps are an essential part of good document management. They make it easier to monitor and validate documents in PDF format. But how can you simplify this inevitable step in the life of a business? With PDFSmart! With this online tool, you can add stamps to PDFs and optimise your document management without technical complexity. Follow our step-by-step guide!
Why add stamps to a PDF?
A stamp is a clear textual indication applied to a document. Examples include ‘Approved’, ‘Confidential’ or ‘Completed’ stamps. These are sometimes accompanied by distinctive colours such as green, blue or red for even greater clarity.
A stamp offers a number of advantages:
- Quick identification of document status: A stamp makes the status of a PDF file instantly visible. There's no need to scroll through all the content to work out whether it's a validated version, a draft or something else.
- Reduce errors in collaborative projects: The use of stamps reduces misunderstandings or misunderstandings about documents. You avoid costly errors and increase the security of information exchanged.
- Improved document compliance: By adding stamps, you can ensure the traceability of your PDF documents. This is particularly useful during regulated audits.
